About Anna
Anna grew up helping her mother and father run their butcher shop and garden in San Cesareo, where she learned about fresh meats and vegetables. At a young age, she began cooking alongside her aunt in their family-run osteria in Rome. She learned to cook quality food and generations-old recipes with fresh herbs and ingredients. Today, her familys osteria guarantees the same quality of home-produced meats and vegetables with the aim of preserving traditions from generations past.
Today Anna has been called Queen of the Matriciana by Stefano Bonilli, Priestess of Authentic Traditional Roman Cooking by Bob Noto on the website Lo Mejor de la Gastronomia, and Queen of Roman Cooking by the great Chef Heinz Beck of La Pergola at the Cavalieri Hilton Hotel, Rome.
Cooking Classes
During your class with Anna, you will create and taste agricultural and pastoral cuisine inspired by the ancient Latin settlers who founded Rome and settled in the Roman countryside. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, youll cook with wild herbs, mushrooms and grains to make handmade pasta, polenta and soups.
Cooking alongside Anna will be a rewarding experience as she guides you through her passion and know how on creating unforgettable Roman dishes.
All ingredients are produced on agricultural land owned and managed by Anna and her family.
After your cooking class, enjoy the fruits of your labor with Anna in her osteria complete with local Roman wines.
San Cesareo
The small town of San Cesareo sits on rich farmlands on the Via Labicana, an ancient road connecting Tusculum and Praeneste the 2 important towns of the Roman period. It is also the site of the country villa of Julius Caesar.

How to get there
Transfer to and from Fiumicino airport in Rome can be arranged.
From Rome's Termini Train Station you can arrive to Campoleone Station in 20 minutes. From there we will arrange your transfer.
If you are staying in the Castelli Romani, we can organize your transfer.
Different rates apply depending on your pick up destination.
